Assignment 2A - Natural Structure

Our next assignment is Assignment 2A : Natural Structure. We were supposed to observe a natural object's structure and draw the structure based on what we observed. For me, after much contemplation, I decided to draw the tree just outside HBP's building.

So I started to draw what i observed. I started with the bark of the tree and drew it with relative ease. Unfortunately, i encountered problems when i began to draw in the leaves. I realised i do not know how to draw them. The leaves were moving gently in the wind and every leave has it's own position and motion. It made me confuse and I think the leaves i drew ended up looking like cotton wool hanging on the tree.

Alas, i managed to finish my drawing and my final drawing of a natural structure looked like this:

In conclusion, I feel that this assignment has let me realise my weakness, and I will try to improve on it.
